 We are overjoyed with our new kitchen and extension. Adam is true craftsman, which is rare find these days. Not only did he spend a great deal time discussing our vision, but also took our ideas away and thought about them further. He helped guide us as to how we could improve on our original plan. He made suggestions of ways to make better use of the space (which our original kitchen planner had not considered) and also customised units to make use of all the 'difficult' areas where standard units could not be used. All the tradesmen were punctual, tidy and courteous. They consistently cleaned up and took every possible measure to stop any dust etc. from being spread around our home. As a result of this, we also asked him to fit our new bathroom. He has an eye for detail and I thought I was fussy, until I saw how fastidious Adam and his team were. I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough.

 Adam and his team have done lots of work for us over the years in three different houses. This has ranged from large jobs such as fitting a kitchen and a couple of bathrooms, and replacing our single 70s glazing with modern double glazing throughout, to smaller jobs such as fixing leaks and draughts. Adam is a very good problem-solver and often has useful suggestions about how how space can be used more effectively or which fixtures and fittings would be suitable. He made our steep and poorly lit steps safe with low-wattage LED lighting that is cheap to run and works on a timer. He is knowledgeable about safety issues and knows which checks and certificates are needed e.g. for renting out property. When we had a suspected carbon monoxide leak one time, he arrived with a Gas Safe Engineer within half an hour and was able to reassure us. He and his team are polite, friendly, punctual and tidy. He is good at child proofing properties and patient when cats run over gloss before it's dry! I would thoroughly recommend Adam."

 Adam Snell and his team replaced my work top an fitted a new tap and also fitted an electric oven and gas hob, they also replaced my old fuse box. I highly recommend all of them they were punctual unassuming cleaned up any mess, worked extremely hard and did not stop for long lunch breaks. Over the years he’s done a variety of work in my home, from roof maintenance through to installing smart heating and even locating and repairing a leak caused by a previous bathroom installer. It's great peace of mind to know that Adam and the team can complete any type of building or decorating work to the same standard. I highly recommend them. 

 I can't speak highly enough of Adam and his work and would recommend him whole heartedly. Adam is not only really friendly, he is respectful of your home and always leaves it tidy at the end of the day which really makes a difference when your house is upside down! The work Adam produces is of great quality , he will never use a short cut and therefore I feel is good value for money he even gave us some suggestions for cheaper and better ways to do things based on his experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Adam, either for a big project or smaller things you've always wanted to get done. We will definitely use him again.

 Adam and Paul did an excellent job renovating our chimney stacks last year. We were so pleased with the results we used them again this year to repoint the front of our house.  Needing roof repairs including new barge boards and soffits, I engaged Adam Snell without hesitation, having seen at first hand the improvements he made to neighbour's property. I commend him for his professionalism, reliability and his customer friendly approach. He sets himself very high standards and achieves them.  The front of my property was in need of painting of mock Tudor woodwork, and masonry. Adsmore had recently completed works for my neighbour, and I approached Adam Snell for a quotation, which I accepted. On commencing, Adam discovered a multitude of problems that needed remediation, including an area where external air/dust, was entering the upstairs front bedroom at floor level. The extensive remediation was carried out very professionally. Adam is very particular about the quality of any work done. I am very impressed, and completely satisfied with the result.

 I have absolutely nothing but praise for Adam and his team. I had been bitten by cowboy workmen and a dear friend recommended Adam as they were so pleased with him and his team. In the consultation, Adam pulls out the stops to accommodate what you want and if you do not know what you want gives you all the options so that you can decide. Adam is very understanding and patient. So for anyone who is nervous, or elderly or vulnerable Adam is your man!!! He makes you feel safe and calm. Adam is such a good communicator, especially in letting you know when he is starting, or if he cannot come. But every step of the way he is letting you know. Earlier I said I have nothing but praise for Adam, well now I am going to say Adam’s team’s work is excellent. They just get on with it and work very hard and their work is to a very high standard and of a high quality. It is not shoddy or cheap. They are a pleasure to have, they are really professional and so friendly and chatty. I felt comfortable enough with them to leave them with the gate key so that they could come and go as they needed. They are so considerate too of their clients. Due to an illness I have, Paul did not do any sanding down with their machines until they he knew I was up and about and instead got on with other work. Another time Adam turned up before Paul and he did not want to disturb me until he knew there was activity. How considerate is that!!! I would like to point out that building work, especially outside works, come with their delays due to the weather, Covid, delays in supplies and other time and unforeseen occurrences. But as a client I was fine with that, it is what it is, the work was still going to get done. Adam is not going to leave you high and dry. This is where his communicating skills were excellent as he is updating you all the time. So whatever job you get them to do expect possibly unavoidable delays, but don’t worry the work will get done and when it does the finished product is well worth the wait. Adam and his team are a rare dying breed (don’t worry they are not old) in the building trade. I would highly recommend Adam and would like to thank Adam and Paul for all their hard work and being unforgettable. See you both for phase 2.

 Adam and his team have completed a range of tasks for us over the years, both large and small, external and internal. These have included window and roofing replacement and repair and maintenance of exterior paintwork and brickwork, as well as plumbing repairs (including pressure tank replacement), internal structural repairs and re-decoration. Based on the work he has done for us, we've been impressed by Adam's standard of workmanship and attention to detail, which is consistently high. His expertise is extensive, and where he engages contractors and other trade professionals he ensures work is completed to the same high standards.  The high quality workmanship of Adam and his team caught my eye, whilst they were working on a local property and he was also recommended by a neighbour. My 30 year old hardwood conservatory was in need of roof repairs, which no one seemed interested in taking on. Adam was able to come up with ideas and solutions to the problems and I am delighted with the finished work. Together with Paul, they work quietly, efficiently and professionally, always leaving the everything as clean as possible during the build. They removed the large glazed roof and replaced it with a flat roof and glass lantern in the centre. The transformation to the space is incredible, it now feels like an additional room, rather than a cold conservatory. The existing radiator now warms up the room with efficient insulation in the roof and I have a room I can use all year round. I can highly recommend Adam for any household\building works and quality workmanship. 

 This was a major project - a fairly large bathroom to be completely stripped out and re-designed. Before the project started, Adam went to great lengths to ensure that we had a plan we were happy with. This involved several onsite consultations. Once the project was underway inevitably issues beyond his control arose in respect of resourcing some of the materials needed and dealing with delivery issues. All of these were diligently pursued and resolved. Throughout the project Adam and his associate worked really hard and went to great lengths to minimise the impact of the work on the rest of the house. The fact that both Adam and his associate had the full range of skills - carpentry, plumbing, electrical - greatly contributed to the standard of workmanship. We were extremely impressed at the finished result. I would not hesitate to recommend Adam’s company to anyone contemplating a similar project.

 I have had Adam do excellent work for me before and I am going to have Adam back to do phase 2 of a project going on in the home. I had an emergency situation occur, Adam came to look into it. It required that I leave home within a day, and Adam came back on the same week that he was due to start his 2 week annual leave and sort the major problem out. That is someone that cares about his customers and wants to make their homes safe. I left Adam the keys to the house (something I would not normally do for any Builder or Tradesman) as I trust Adam that he will look after the house as if it was his own and I knew nothing would go missing. Adam is someone you can trust your home with. I got back and found everything in order, even to the home being hoovered along with Adam having covered everything that needed protecting.  Having to go through a big house renovation while living in it, can be daunting but in just 75 days, Adam and his team at Adsmore have transformed our house with minimum disruption and we couldn't be happier with the result. Adam was recommended to us by a neighbour initially to just fix an outdoor socket but when we talked to him about our plans for the renovation and how we were struggling to find a trustworthy builder, he was quick to offer his professional advice and give us a quote. It was immediately clear that he had extensive knowledge and that it was someone we could trust with the work which included knocking a wall through an existing extension, install a new kitchen, 2 rooflights, a new downstairs toilet, laundry cupboard and fix roof tiles and soffits. Adam project managed the whole built and at every stage he kept us informed about the progress, offer his advice and worked to remedy some of the issues he found along the way. Every hiccup, big or small, was dealt with swiftly and even when they had to unexpectedly rebuild the (badly built) roof extension, they just got on with it and worked long hours in the cold to keep to the timeframe. He surrounds himself with a team of very skilled, chatty and friendly people (big shout out to Paul, Ben and Elliot) who all went to great lengths to minimise the impact of the work on us, our grumpy cat and on the rest of the house. Adam and his team work at very high standards and with attention to detail and were very good at re-using some of the materials where possible, to help keep to budget. He dealt with the Council for all the paperwork we needed and shopped around to find the best deals on materials without compromising on the high quality of the products. We are over the moon with our new kitchen (which a friend called "a show kitchen") and with the high standards of the finish. We couldn't recommend Adam and his team enough and we will certainly trust them again with any other future project. Thanks Adam and team!

 When we moved into our Victorian terraced cottage we were very lucky to have Adam recommended to us by a friend. He and his team have worked diligently in all weathers on a few projects for us already: repointing brickwork, fitting loft flooring, and installing new fencing and a cabin in a previously unloved garden. No job has been too big or too small. Bringing his knowledge and experience, Adam’s personable approach means that he always takes the time to listen to our ideas and remain mindful of our budget. He clearly explains all aspects of the job, happy to provide an update, a reassurance or a smile. We have more plans to upgrade our home and won’t hesitate to ask Adam to do the work - in fact we already have!

 We wanted a kitchen and first floor extension and knew that it was not going to be an easy task for whoever we contracted to do the job, but we couldn’t have chosen better than Adsmore. To begin with we had a few contractors in to look at the work and provide estimates Adsmore (Adam) was just one of many but stood out from the crowd from the start and we couldn’t be more pleased with the finished product. He not only had the vision but also was able to point out what we might find difficult during the build giving us plenty of notice and advice on how we could reduce the impact on our daily lives whilst the work was carried out. He accommodated us in every way. His communication and organisational skills were above the norm and his ability to effectively problem solve left us amazed more than once. We were intending to use a well-known kitchen company to plan and install our new kitchen. When we showed the plans to Adam he mentioned that we might consider asking them to make a few changes as he had spent the time to listen to us talking about how we intended to use the new kitchen space. Unfortunately, the kitchen designers were intending to use a lot of infills, leaving voids and unused space and as they could not provide what we wanted, Adam re-planned the kitchen with us. The finished kitchen flows well and we have more storage than we could ever have imagined. Adams knowledge of products and materials is second to none. His team were great, the job was messy but at the end of every day the site was left clean and tidy and with the additional protection they put in place the spread of dust to the rest of the house was minimal. Adam was originally recommended to us by neighbours and we commend his honesty, amenability and knowledge, Adsmore were ‘simply the best’. We will definitely be return customers and we can’t wait to plan our next project. L and D
